Bre Ellins is the much-loved partner of our son, Danny Potts. Currently she is in hospital recovering from a rare automimmune disorder called Guillain-Barre Syndrome, which damages the peripheral nerve system. GBS causes rapid paralysis, and often, as in Bre’s case, requires life support measures. Bre has been off the ventilator for a while now and is steadily regaining her mobility, but the length of time required for her full recovery is hard to predict.
