Happy New Year to you
I read with complete understanding your article in the Globe and I,m sure you have had many replies..I have never responded to anything before but your story so touched me because mine has the same undertones I just wrote a reply and lost it as I am not as competent yet as you with technology so if i am repeating myself sorry
I am a 63 year old well educated woman who has fallen through the cracks.
A few years ago I was married to a successful business man ,living in my dream home, running a Bed and Breakfast and Catering business ,and preparing the last of my four children to leave the nest..that all changed with a divorce..yes I have legal documents and promises that I would be looked after but the truth is different ..my ex remarried..he “retired “, has nothing, and gives me no support
So I cried and wallowed in victim state for a while then rented a house and trained as a home stager (hope you used one to help prepare your house)and ran a business modestly successful for someone with no business experience for 5 years until the economy changed last year I panicked but in truth how could I keep lifting heavy furniture and carting accessories forever so….
I researched and started another business venture in the area of NWM that I had been asked many times to participate in because of my “outgoing” personality but had always dismissed as illegal or beneath me or some other negative idea, and I also hate selling…was I wrong ..I have met the most interesting helpful people from all walks of life and through hard work(yes you have to work) I am creating a team of like minded people to bring not only residual income for life but great people into my life..
The product is Xocai healthy chocolate, it is unique and patented, the company is debt free and growing(this is an international business so you can have people on your team from many countries)and the timing is perfect.I have also lost weight and have more energy than ever because of the health benefits..You may not be interested in this field but just thought I would share the opportunity..there are many husband and wife teams working together..contact me if you would like more info or i could send you to a meeting to meet other distributors..i am leaving for a 3 week holiday…maybe I will work when I am away..that is the beauty of this business
Google healthy chocolate and thousands of sites come up
A few specific to my company are
http://www.mxicorp.com
http://www.the fivereasons.com
http://www.mydrchocolate.com
and my website http://www.herestohealthychocolate.com
Whatever you do I wish you a good life and remind you of your many blessings…a partner and husband in life..and that little dog ..my Lab is 14 years old and has been through it all with me so I will miss her when it is time..we may have been shipwrecked a few times but life is good and abundant and there is enough for us all. I wish you every success.
Thank you
Jane
Hi jane,
It sounds like you’ve had more than your share of challenges over the past while, but it’s also evident that you have a lot of determination! Good for you.
Many years ago, my husband and I became Amway distributors for a while. At first, we found the positive energy a little overwhelming, but we quickly realized that no matter what kind of sales you’re in, it requires frequent positive input and a determined mindset. Otherwise, you’d get defeated to oquickly.
Other jobs came our way and eventually, we gave the distributorship up, but we still talk about the positive things we got from it. While so many might see those methods as off-putting and over-the-top, we learned to appreciate them.
In any case, I don’t mind that you’ve sent this link at all, and may give it a look one of these days.
Good luck to you Jane. I hope you have amazing success in sales. And have a great holiday! It sounds like you’ve earned it.
Linda
